My name is Lilia Abrahamyan, and I am originally from Armenia. From a young age, I was drawn to film and acting, performing for several years in local theater. Two years ago, my family moved to Los Angeles, and I faced the challenge of learning English from scratch. Through determination, I not only learned the language but also wrote and independently published my first novel, Fractured Paradox, which explores the philosophical journey of a young man.
In high school, I discovered filmmaking. I directed and wrote short films that explore self-discovery, philosophy, and the balance between optimism and pessimism. My work has been recognized at the California Student Media Festival, where my first short film screened for a large audience.
I approach storytelling by combining creativity with structure, blending logic and imagination. Collaboration is central to my work, and I enjoy learning from others’ perspectives while bringing my own experiences as an immigrant and multilingual writer into my projects. My dream is to direct films, act, and perform in theater, creating stories that reflect human complexity and inspire audiences.
