My work reflects my love for the timelessness of film mixed with my appreciation for retro technology, creating visually appealing and detailed shots that immediately say, “Dillon Buck shot that.”
Getting my start as a videographer in the Marine Corps, I learned how to be flexible in different situations while maintaining my lighthearted nature, but also knowing when to “get to business.”
Having experience with cameras from the Canon Auto Zoom 814 Super 8 and the Kodak Brownie Turret to the Arri Alexa Mini, I can adapt to any camera needed for a job (although I may still have a preference for one over the other).
In all of my works, whether music videos, testimonials, or documentaries, the most important aspect has always been enjoying the creative process.

Quotes
“Technology does release you to do new shots, new angles, new movements - but you have to decide why you’re doing them. Not just because you can, because you should” - Oliver Curtis, Cinematographer Style (2006)
For every shoot, I want to find the perfect mix of film and fun.
