Since his university years, he has directed several short films showcased at national and international festivals, including Santiago, Valdivia, Buenos Aires, and the Czech Republic, among others. His work explores emotional and geological fragility as intertwined forces shaping human experience.

He is currently promoting his second feature film, Aftershocks (2025), a meditation on loss, guilt, and the invisible tremors that shape identity, both personal and collective. Simultaneously, he is developing a new screenplay: a magical realism story set during the War of the Pacific (Chile–Peru–Bolivia, 1880), with production planned for 2027.
Recently, his feature film Aftershocks won the Best Film Award at Amsterdam New Cinema 2025, as well as Best Actor and two additional nominations at the UK Film Awards 2025, including Best Director.

- I play the bandoneon and am a lifelong fan of tango, especially Astor Piazzolla.
- I started shooting on Video8, moved to 16mm at university, and now embrace digital filmmaking — having experienced almost every format of my generation.
-My storytelling is shaped by both the rhythms of music and the textures of Chilean landscapes.
-When I’m not directing or making music, I spend my time working in my garden.
