Desi "Babalu" Jévon is a 3-time World Choreography Award Nominee, his work has been seen on the upcoming rom-com by Paramount Plus called At Midnight, the opening number of The Imagen Awards televised on PBS, Mi Sueño es Bailar (Spanish Dancing with the Stars), VH-1's Dating Naked (assoc), USA's The Moment, Van Halen for both The Jimmy Kimmel Show and The Ellen Show, CBS's Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Cruises (Turner Classic Movies), High Flyer Scooters commercial campaign, Vampire Diaries (assist), Switched at Birth (assist), Tengo Talento Mucho Talento, MGM Casino and Bellagio Casino's New Years Eve Shows, High Flyer Scooters commericals (Hover Boards), Bravo's Step it up and Dance (assoc), Chippendales ABSolutely sexy workout, Chippendales the show, Duetos (spanish version of American Idol), America's Prom Queen, and a guest dance instructor on Dr. Phil, NBC's First Look with the Bachelor's Ben Higgin's, and is the assistant choreographer on Showtime's upcoming tv series Penny Dreadful: City of Angeles.
Desi's work as a director can be seen in his latest film Winter Grew Cold on Amazon Prime which won at the Best Romantic Short and Best Screen Dance Short at The Independent Short Awards and The IndieX Film Fests. He has directed several music videos and a commercial campaign for High Flyer Scooters Hover boards and many live theatre shows including the 1940s an East Side Story which ran in Los Angeles for a year.
As a dancer he has toured with Gloria Estefan, Toni Braxton's Revealed show in Las Vegas, Selena Gomez, Prince Royce, Luis Fonsi, Alicia Keys, Brian Setzer Orchestra and The Playboy Jazz Festival at The Hollywood Bowl. He also did the print campaign for So You Think You Can Dance, World of Dance Super Bowl commercial, danced on Dancing with the Stars Lip Sync Battle with America Ferrera, was a salsa champion on Univision's Sabado Gigante. He can also be seen on Wizards of Waverly Place, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Life in Pieces, Kids and Teen Choice Awards, Saturday Night Live, Castle, Shake it Up, China's hit film Gone with the Bullets, Clerks 2, We Are Your Friends, recently in the Gilmore Girls Reunion and featured as The Matador on FX's Legion.
