Dennis is a Los Angeles & New England based actor-comedian who began his career as a performer at Ithaca College in New York. Dennis also received improvisational training from the Groundlings, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC/Los Angeles and the Massachusetts-based ImprovBoston (where he studied with Kids In The Hall's Kevin McDonald). Dennis was part of the sketch teams: Sawyer and Hurley and Friends of Gertrude.
Dennis Hurley's television and film credits include: Superstore, The Daily Show, official 'Can't Stop The Feeling' music video by Justin Timberlake, DISH Network / Ancient Aliens TV Spot, 2 Investigation Discovery shows (Unusual Suspects, True Nightmares) Tosh.0 and his original film The Albino Code, a parody of The DaVinci Code, which he wrote and starred in. His parodies have been met with international acclaim, being featured on CNN, MSNBC, Inside Edition, Fox News and The Boston Globe in a review by top film critic Ty Burr.
Dennis has performed in the lead role in the original play Diamond In The Rough at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. He has acted in such Off-Off Broadway productions as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Where's Charlie?, Titus Andronicus and The Magic of Mrs. Crowling.
