Delta Gótica ® es el primer festival interregional de cine de Ensenada y Berisso que surge a partir del ciclo Cine de Ultratumba y del Más Allá. Esta propuesta nació con el propósito de difundir y promover el cine independiente de género y abrir puertas a nuevos/as cineastas.

Delta Gótica ® aspira y abraza en recibir cortometrajes nacionales e internacionales con estilos diversos, donde el terror y lo fantástico se apoderan de la pantalla. Historias sombrías, perturbadoras e intensas. Queremos poner en valor el cine de terror en cualquiera de sus subgéneros (suspenso, thriller, acción, aventura, western, noir, fantasía y ciencia ficción)

Anuncio de seleccionados: se realizará a través de las redes sociales oficiales del festival, y se notificará por la plataforma de Film Freeway o por correo electrónico a los responsables según corresponda.

🩸 DELTA GÓTICA ®

1st Edition – Horror, Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Beyond International Film Festival – Ensenada y Berisso, Buenos Aires, Argentina

📅 Date: October 2, 3 and 4.

Delta Gótica ® is the first interregional horror film festival from Ensenada and Berisso. It was born as a movie club called Cine de Ultratumba y del Más Allá. This initiative arose with the purpose and aim to promote Independent Genre Works, to open doors for emerging filmmakers.

Delta Gótica ® aspires and embraces receiving national and international short films with diverse styles, where horror and the fantastic take over the screen. Dark, disturbing, and intense stories. We want to highlight horror cinema in any of its subgenres (suspense, thriller, action, adventure, western, noir, fantasy, and science fiction).

Announcement of selected films: will be made through the festival's official social media channels, and the responsible parties will be notified via the FilmFreeway platform or by email, as applicable.

Awards & Prizes

En cada categoría (en total son 3, Nacional, Bonaerense e Internacional) se entregará un trofeo a Mejor Cortometraje y dos menciones especiales de acuerdo a la decisión del jurado.

In each category (there are 3 in total, National, Bonaerense and International), a trophy will be awarded for Best Short Film, along with two special mentions, according to the jury's decision.

Rules & Terms

Si la obra audiovisual no es hablada en español debe proporcionarse el correspondiente subtítulo en castellano.

Se aceptan links de visualización online con resolución mínima HD (1280x720). Aceptaremos cortometrajes realizados a partir de 2024 hasta la actualidad.

Se brindan los derechos de exhibición de la obra audiovisual escogida de manera ilimitada y no exclusiva.

La proyección de las obras seleccionadas será presencial y en formato digital.

Los participantes de aquellas obras audiovisuales que sean seleccionadas certifican que su pieza audiovisual es una obra original y que son dueños legales de la misma.

Solo se admitirán obras audiovisuales en el formato de cortometraje (ficción o documental) La duración de las mismas no debe exceder los 15 minutos (incluyendo créditos).

El pago para los cortometrajes internacionales deberá realizarse a través de la página web del festival, y será obligatorio enviar el comprobante de pago correspondiente a la casilla de e-mail: deltagotica@gmail.com.

Política de reembolsos: no hay reembolsos por retiro o descalificación.

Cualquier producción audiovisual que emplee parcial o totalmente el uso de la Inteligencia Artificial, será descalificado. El staff de Delta Gótica ® sostiene la importancia del cine de calidad gracias a la creatividad humana.

La determinación de los jurados será definitiva.

Con la inscripción del presente festival, autorizo a los organizadores de Delta Gótica ® para que sin ningún tipo de compensación, pago y/o indemnización puedan efectuar la difusión pública de mi nombre en cualquier medio incluyendo: medios televisivos, gráficos, internet y/o cualquier otro medio de difusión o comunicación creado o a crearse, a su criterio, sin limitación de tiempo ni territorio para la promoción de su exhibición dentro del festival de cine. El material recibido podrá ser utilizado con fines promocionales y sin fines de lucro. El sólo hecho de participar en la convocatoria implica el conocimiento y la aceptación de las presentes Bases y Condiciones.

If the audiovisual work is not in Spanish, the corresponding subtitles in Spanish must be provided.

Online viewing links with a minimum HD resolution (1280x720) are accepted. We will accept short films made from 2024 to the present.

Non-exclusive and unlimited exhibition rights are granted for the selected audiovisual work.

Screening of the selected works will be in-person and in digital format.

Participants of selected audiovisual works certify that their piece is an original work and that they are its legal owners.

Only audiovisual works in short film format (fiction or documentary) will be accepted. Their duration must not exceed 15 minutes (including credits).

Payment for the international short films must be made through the festival website, and proof of payment must be sent to: deltagotica@gmail.com.

Refund policy: No refunds for withdrawals or disqualifications.

Any audiovisual production that partially or entirely uses Artificial Intelligence will be disqualified. The Delta Gótica ® staff upholds the importance of quality cinema through human creativity.

The jury's decision shall be final.

By registering for this festival, I authorize the organizers of Delta Gótica ® to publicly disseminate my name in any medium, including television, print, internet, and/or any other existing or future medium or communication channel, at their discretion, without any compensation, payment, and/or indemnification, and without time or territorial limitation, for the purpose of promoting its screening within the film festival. The material received may be used for promotional and non-commercial purposes. Simply participating in the call implies knowledge and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
