Declan is primarily a vfx artist who works on feature films, short films and television. Some of his recent projects include Evil Dead Rise and Peaky Blinders.
He started his studies in animation in Ballyfermot and concluded them in Hertfordshire University in the UK.
He first started working in animation in Manchester, then moved home to Ireland where He became a generalist in a small company. While there He had the experience of working on a variety of areas of tv and film production.
After this He worked in BrownBag studios in Smithfield for a few years as a previs artist. At the same time He was moonlighting as a storyboard artist and VFX artist for live action projects. Eventually He decided to leave the animation studio and become a full time vfx artist. Since becoming a full time vfx artist his pursuits in animation are mainly focused on small personal projects that he creates independently. The first of these projects which He has just completed is titled Vinny.
