A native of Montreal, Deb followed in her family’s creative footsteps - her father was an animator with Disney, her grandfather a producer, and her grandmother a poet. She is now an internationally recognized casting director, casting actors from across North America, the U.K. and Europe since 1991. She has cast such films as Shanghai Noon, Brokeback Mountain, Tideland and November 1963. Along with casting, Deb has written several stage plays and screenplays, including an award-winning feature, Right of Inheritance, and the produced stage play The Big Shock. She has also written treatments and pitches for several TV pilots and has produced two short films, Water Under The Bridge and The Trouble With Destiny with her production company Earthwave Entertainment. Deb is a member of the Casting Society of America (CSA) and the Casting Directors Society of Canada (CDC), and she currently lives, works and writes in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada.
