Raised in Texas, I've lived in Tennessee since 1986. I spent nearly 50 years in the music business as a touring musician and lighting designer/director. My screenplay, "Hellhounds (God Sees Everything)" is based on the time I spent in a small town Mississippi jail in the early 70's. I revisited the town 40 years later and saw that while culture shifts, power structures remain largely unchanged. Written from lived experience, it's a hard look at where we've been, where we are now, and where we are going.
