Creator of THE BLACK SUN and SLEEPING BEAUTY OF CATANIA. Not film‑school trained; I come from real bureaucratic work and write genre‑bending drama and “administrative horror” where systems and family codes trap people more tightly than ghosts.
My professional background is in public service and systems. I have over thirty years in public service, including twenty years with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services, where I work as a Program Assistant PSS / Program Integrity Compliance Officer (PICO). I review and monitor automated systems, reconcile and validate computer matches, and help detect, report, and prevent internal employee fraud while ensuring program rules are followed. Earlier in my career I worked in higher‑ed community services (Los Angeles City College) and as a teacher assistant with LAUSD, serving students from special education to adult ESL. I come to writing as a complete outsider to the film and television industry, a career low‑level bureaucrat turning lived experience with real institutions into story. I leverage my 30+ years of regulatory expertise to craft “administrative horror” that feels terrifyingly real.
