Darwin Robles is an Emmy® and Promax®award-winning media professional with over twenty years of experience in television broadcasting and video production. Originally from Manabí, Ecuador, Darwin began his career in television in Guayaquil, where he graduated with an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Television Production from the Tecnológico de Arte y Comunicación (ITSU) in 1997 and was named Valedictorian of his class. He went to work for several TV stations in Ecuador, where he directed hit television series including Palabras al viento, A flor de piel, Juego de traiciones, and the docudrama El poeta suicida.
He moved to Miami in 2005 to continue his journey in the industry, first as a creative writer and producer of On-air Promotions in the AméricaTeVé network. Not afraid to step and set “out of the box” searching for “that” creative spark, he is committed to having fun and surprising the possibilities of the impossible. Darwin currently serves as Creative Director of the AméricaTeVé network where he is known as a problem solver and visionary producer, creating captivating network campaigns and inspiring public service announcements, for which he has been recognized with 14 Emmy® Awards. In 2015 Darwin was elected member of the EMMY® Suncoast Board of Governors. Always seeking to learn and expand his practice, Darwin is currently completing his B.A.S degree in Film, Television and Digital Production at Miami Dade College.
