Darren Stewart-Jones is a member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada. Darren was the Founding Artistic Director of the Toronto Queer Theatre Festival, an annual theatre festival dedicated to promoting LGBTQ playwrights. Darren appears as Ruby LaRue in Digging Up Dorothy, a short film for which he also wrote the screenplay. Darren is also the screenwriter of Stroke of Fate, a short film starring Sheila McCarthy (Agnes in Umbrella Academy). Most recently, Darren co-produced the ACTRA nominated comedy series, Pink Is In which is currently streaming in Canada on Bell Fibe TV1. Darren also appears as the drag queen Miss Ogyny in the upcoming short film, Ramblings of a Middle-Aged Drag Queen.
