After walking away from the military during a global shutdown, he dove headfirst into film—not just to direct, but to master the craft from the ground up.
Darius Wilson is a U.S. military veteran, filmmaker, and Memphis native with a voice rooted in emotional honesty and bold storytelling. After leaving the service in 2020, I committed fully to the craft attending film school in Nashville TN, working on countless sets, and writing scripts that speak to overlooked voices and hard personal truths. His work focuses on intimate tension, character-driven plots, and carefully constructed twists that challenge the viewer. Guilty Pleasures is the first of three connected short films under his debut collection, Mastering the Piece.
