After more than 15 years of international acting career & more than 50 roles in drama theatre, musical & film, Daria Zueva has been started to produce films.

«Burden» was her debut in this role and thanks to this experience, she felt the calling to continue this interesting and challenging journey.

In the beginning of 2023 being inspired of the trip on one of European filmfestivals Daria seeded the idea of feature “Almanac, women to love” / «Almanak: Vrouwen om van te houden» as an unique project about the women who have to be heard and seen by the Dutch audience.

During the same time she released her first music album «The Power of a Woman» under the artist name Daria Zu what helped her with forming of the most resonating theme worth fully to dive in.

After finding the film distribution partner for «Almanak: Vrouwen om van te houden» came time for establishing the production company «Zu film» with the mission of supporting women of different nationalities, diverse backgrounds on and behind the screen.

“Zu film” creates fiction films with an international focus and helps in casting process of Eastern European actors speaking different languages in Europe.
