Dara Jade Moats got her start in film, television and new media as a graphic designer in Nairobi, Kenya. She has worked in reality television, a new media centre for women artists and as an Associate Producer at the National Film Board of Canada. She currently works at the Fantasia Film Festival. She was the producer/writer of the short film Adventure Girls III which won the 'Best Blood Bath' award at the Viscera Film Fest in Vanouver, Canada. The Makeover is her directorial debut. She lives and loves in Montreal.
