I am Danilo Medakovic, a filmmaker based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. My passion lies in creating films that emphasize storytelling, artistic aesthetics, and music, all elements that I believe are essential to impactful cinema. Though I often work with limited resources, I have been fortunate to find success in the Swiss youth film scene, where my ideas have been realized on screen.

In 2023, I was honored with the Special Mention Award at the Swiss National Youth Film Festival, "Schweizer Jugendfilmtage," for my documentary "das bin ich - das leben der munotwächterin". The following year, my art film "from station to station" earned second place at both the "Schweizer Jugendfilmtage" and the "Movie Day" film festival in Romanshorn. Both projects received positive feedback from professional juries, and these experiences have strengthened my dedication to creating thought-provoking films.

Currently, I am developing new projects and am open to potential artistic collaborations. My work continues to be shaped by a deep commitment to narrative, visuals, and sound, as I aim to craft films that resonate with audiences.
