Danielle Swanson is a multi-award winning director and filmmaker, known for such projects as Bankeys Cinemas (2019), Long Weekend (2022) and Work-Life Balance (2022).
For her direction on Work-Life Balance, Danielle won Best Director - Web Series (FirstGlance Film Festival 2023), Best Short Short (Broad Humor Festival 2023) and Best Webisode (LA Femme International Film Festival 2023). Long Weekend was awarded Best Romantic Short, Best Original Story, and Best Acting Duo by the Independent Shorts Awards (December 2022) as well as Outstanding Achievement Award for Best Drama Short at IndieX Film Fest (January 2023).
In addition to being a director and producer, Danielle is an actor and has performed in film, theatre, and improv in Chicago and LA for more than 20 years, which has greatly contributed to her unique directing style and keen attention to detail. She currently studies with Robert D'Avanzo at RD Studio, where she is also an instructor.
Originally from Chicago, Danielle resides in Los Angeles and is a member of Women In Film (WIF).
