Danielle Spontak is an award-winning writer/director whose mission is to create something in every genre. She earned her BA at the University of San Diego and an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Kent. Spontak is known for her underwater horror short "Moon Eater", the Lutas Pitch Winner for best script "Cotton Candy Dreams” that then premiered at the Lutas Film Festival IX, Lutas Grand Jury Prize Winner "Serial Influencer", and "A Little Mishap" in the 48 Hour London Sci-Fi Challenge. She currently has four feature scripts in development as well as one documentary about the notorious Alexander Technique. When Spontak's not working on scripts or sets, she enjoys playing the piano, walking her dog and cat, and partaking in Bodycombat (MMA to dance music).
