    Daniel is an award-winning, Latino filmmaker originally from Austin, Texas. He is the son of Cuban and Puerto Rican parents. For a time, he was a writer/director for online powerhouse, Rooster Teeth, co-writing and co-directing the sci-fi comedy feature, Lazer Team 2 (YouTube Red), and co-creating and directing the horror-comedy series, Haunter. His latest project is a historical drama entitled "El Gato Feo", which premiered at the 2023 Dallas International Film Festival. The short film is entirely in Spanish and follows two estranged sisters caught on opposite sides of the Mexican Revolution.
