Dancinema is the exploration of celebration of the arts of dance and cinema through productions, education and events.

We produce two festivals, each which has a dedicated FilmFreeway page:

Submit your project on this page to be considered for ONLINE screenings, postings, playlists, and to "get on our radar" for future screenings and opportunities such as being featured on Frameform Podcast. We consider films year-round with a Quarterly structure.

To submit your film to be considered for a live theatrical screening, please visit the CASCADIA or CAPITOL pages directly.

Please note: "Event Date" on this FilmFreeway page is not reflective of any live or online event or production. FilmFreeway requires an event date however our submissions are open all year. Filmmakers will receive notification by July 3 regarding submissions received by June 30. Submissions will reopen July 5.

Rules & Terms

By Submitting Your Project to this page, you confirm and consent that:

• All works must be original and Entrants must own the rights or have permission to use the materials included in their videos and performances.

• Entrant(s) confirms and warrants required legal authority to submit the entry and to use all music, images and content in the entry.

• Entrant(s) will allow usage of clips from the entry and all related publicity material submitted for promotional use on television, radio, in print, web and at live Festival events.

• Dancinema will contact Entrant(s) before confirming any films for formal online programming (curated screening event, rather than informal social media post or open online playlist).
