Dance Film Festival Prague invites dance, movement and video/film artists to submit their dance films to the 10th edition of the festival.

Submissions accepted through FilmFreeway only.
Submitted films must be the original works of the applying entity, which also should own the copyright to the film.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the production or post-production of submitted films is permitted. However, applicants are required to disclose any use of AI and provide a clear description of how AI was used during the filmmaking process.
Applicants are solely responsible for ensuring that the use of AI does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, performer’s rights, personality rights, privacy rights, moral rights, or rights related to voice, likeness, choreography, music or other protected materials. If AI has been used to generate, imitate or substantially alter the likeness, voice, movement, choreography or performance of a real person, the applicant must have obtained all necessary permissions and consents.
Dance Film Festival Prague reserves the right to request further information regarding the use of AI in any submitted film. If significant AI use has not been properly disclosed, the Festival may take this into consideration during the selection process or, where necessary, take appropriate action.
All selected applications will, by submission, authorize Dance Film Festival Prague to use and edit submitted videos, text, stills and their related elements at no cost for marketing and promo activities.
The applying entity should ensure that they have been granted the legal rights to use all copyrighted elements such as music, text, images and other media forms in the video for public broadcasting, such that all elements in the submitted film can be used and broadcasted by Dance Film Festival Prague in its public screening activities and screening tours.
If language materials are used in the film, please provide subtitles in English and/or Czech.
Films in STUDENT SECTION must be provided with valid student ID of the filmmaker or another proof.
The selected entities will be contacted via email and will be given a period of seven days to provide the film in the requested format, as well as other supporting materials (stills, trailers, etc.).
Selected films will be competing at Dance Film Festival Prague 2027 on May 13-15 in Prague, Czech Republic.
