Dana Ridenour is a retired FBI agent and the award-winning author of Behind The Mask, Beyond The Cabin, and Below The Radar. Her first novel, Behind The Mask, was named one of the best indie books of 2016 by Kirkus Reviews. Beyond The Cabin followed and won the 2018 Royal Palm Literary Award for best thriller or suspense novel. Below The Radar, the third book in the series, was the 2020 Readers' Favorite Gold Medal Winner in the Fiction - Thriller - Terrorist genre as well as the 2021 Feathered Quill Book Awards Gold/First Place winner for best Adult Fiction.
Dana collaborated with Lauren Fritz, a writer/director who teaches filmmaking at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Lauren’s work focuses on putting women at the center of their own stories. She believes strongly that ‘what you cannot see, you cannot be’ and hope their show becomes a part of a permanent change in the industry where diverse voices are at the center of the narrative and tell their own stories.
Dana and Lauren developed and wrote the pilot for BELOW THE RADAR, a one-hour television drama based on the Dana’s awarding winning novel of the same name.
Dana lives in Beaufort, South Carolina where she is working on her fourth novel.
