Dan Steadman shoots films with starring roles for women over 40, LGBT characters, and people of color and other diverse backgrounds. He teaches acting and makes feature films with his students in St. Louis. He moved to the Midwest after ten years in Los Angeles, having written and produced TV pilots with actors Melissa McCarthy, Octavia Spencer, Tim Bagley, Sean Hayes, and Tony Hale. His movies have screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival, The Palm Springs International Film Festival, Water Front Film Festival and the Friars Club Comedy Festival in NYC. "Jesus People: The Movie" had a weeklong theatrical run in ten major US cities, before landing on Netflix for three years. His subsequent films are available on Amazon Prime.
