Grew up in 6 states, stand-up comic for 11 years, enjoy producing comedic narratives involving mental health, brand-new skiing enthusiast
Throughout my life and career, I’ve found that mental illness is a topic that resonates with a vast audience and begs for comedic relief. As a standup comedian I found audiences everywhere from Bangor, Maine to Cape Town, South Africa related to my tales of anxiety.
This continued as I co-wrote and produced two narrative comedy albums that play regularly on Sirius and iHeart Radio and feature characters like John Rodgers, a hopeless screenwriter who sells his soul to the devil in return for the voice of a blissful idiot.
I also co-wrote, produced, and starred in “Man Vs. Himself” a web-tutorial to help viewers kick their depression “Into high gear” because depression allows you to eat and wear whatever you want and sleep wherever you want...so why wouldn’t you want to be depressed?
Most recently, I wrote, voiced, and animated my short film, “Dan’s Demons” which has earned the Best Pilot nomination at the NYC Web festival and is based on a breakup I experienced four years ago and the journey that followed.
