Dan Bailey is the Owner and President of Creative Mind Communications (CMC), a management consulting, and marketing company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Dan leverages his 30 year career in aerospace and defense, plus decades of experience with creative projects, to bring his clients unique creative content and innovative communication solutions. Through CMC Industrial Video Productions (CMCIVP), he produces SCUBA diving video tutorials for Dive Operators. Since 1984 he been a professional marketing and technical writer for the world’s largest aerospace companies.
Through CMC Productions, Dan produces, writes, directs, films, and edits short films and documentaries. His primary focus is the impact of the undersea world on people. As a PADI Master SCUBA diver, Dan brings his passion for the oceans to his client’s projects. He has a unique ability to assess his client’s needs, develop innovative and inspiring media content, and communicate his client’s message through sound and images.

Dan is first and foremost a writer. He's also a musician, songwriter, and recording studio owner who has played Fender bass at the top clubs in LA and Hollywood with various rock bands. He also enjoys technical rock climbing, mountaineering, and anything that takes him outdoors. He has worked and lived abroad, and speaks passable German and Spanish.
