D.J. Hale is an Actor, Writer, Director, and Producer from Sacramento, California. He first fell in love with performing when he was cast in William Shakespeare's play "Twelfth Night", as Malvolio, in his sixth grade production at John Morse Waldorf School. D.J. pursued a career in Football until he was nineteen years old, moving out to San Diego to attend Palomar Junior College in hopes of being awarded an Athletic Scholarship to a four year University. It was at Palomar that D.J. took his first Acting class since Waldorf, and fell in love with performing all over again. He then moved back to Sacramento, attending Studio 24 and booking Commercials in San Francisco, until he was able to move himself to Los Angeles. It is here he spends his days Writing, studying and actively Auditioning, waiting for his opportunity to break into the industry!
