** WHAT IS THE CREATURE FEATURE COMPETITION? **

Frankenstein. Nosferatu. The Toxic Crusader. The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Legendary creatures which have sparked the imaginations of audiences for all cinematic history.

And now it's your turn. Make a monster film. Present it at a fan convention. And 100% of profits go to charity!

The Creature Feature Competition (CFC), hosted by Wicked Window Productions is a chance for you to bring a cinematic creature to life.

Grab your crew, pack your monster make-up, and make a film. Join the 2-week film challenge or submit a previously created piece to the festival. It’s your call!

** WHO CAN ENTER? **

The CFC is open to filmmakers at any level, so if this is your first film of your 40th, you're welcome to join! And although the films will be shown in Tampa, anyone from anywhere in the world can participate. Whether you're in Seattle or Senegal, St. Petersburg, Florida or St. Petersburg, Russia, we encourage you to join.

There are two (2) tracks:
* Film challenge: Make a film in two (2) weeks with selected elements.
* Film Festival: Enter a film you made previously. (This year, submit to https://filmfreeway.com/FantasmsShockReelCinemaFilmFestival)

** WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ENTER THE FILM CHALLENGE? **

If you decide to create a new creature feature, during the kick-off event, you and your team will be assigned a random creature category and genre. You then have two (2) weeks to make a short film that is between five (5) and eight (8) minutes in length. Films created for the competition are eligible for any of the awards.

** WHAT ABOUT THE FILM FESTIVAL? CAN I SUBMIT A FILM I MADE BEFORE? **

YES! This year we are partnering with the Fantasm Orlando Film Festival. Submit your films here: https://filmfreeway.com/FantasmsShockReelCinemaFilmFestival

** IS THIS FOR CHARITY? **

YES! 100% of profits go to charity! Over the past 3 years, we've donated more than $3,000 to Kids and Canines, a charity which works with at-risk teens, teaching them how to train assistance dogs. You can read more about them at http://KidsAndCanines.org.

Remember, the contest personnel all volunteer their time, meaning more of your entry fee can go directly to charity.

** WHAT ABOUT MY FILM RIGHTS? **

YOU KEEP ALL RIGHTS TO YOUR FILM! None of this "we own it, sign away your rights to us" stuff other competitions use. Of course, there is more to that, so be sure to read the small print when you have a chance, but we're filmmakers too, and we work to be fair.

** HOW TO REGISTER **

1. Go to “My Projects”.
2. Click “Add a Project”.
3. Add a “Title”. (This field is mandatory, but you can change this later.)
4. Click “Save”.
5. Click “Submit Now”.

NOTE: You'll see that it's incomplete. It's only because you haven't submitted your film yet. If you can pay, it worked!

Let us know if you have any questions!

As badly as I wish I could've escaped Wisconsin to go to Florida I just couldn't because my film Mr. Mops was opening for the Addams Family movie in my home town and it was also in a festival that same weekend up here. I was thrilled to have it accepted for screening and the communication I had with the organizers was awesome! I hope to get more of my films at this festival in the future! Thank you for your hard work!
