"Craic Fest is the premier Irish film/music fest in the U.S. since 1999"- Daily News
CraicFest is the longest running Irish film (and music) festival in the U.S. Our main focus is on the New Irish Cinema and emerging Irish filmmakers throughout the world. For over two decades the festival has created a program of inclusion that supports and celebrates diverse voices of Irish storytelling in animation, documentary and live action in both short and feature lengths.
Over the last 27 years we’ve been delighted to welcome to New York City so many talented people representing every aspect of filmmaking including, Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell, Ed Burns, Brendan Gleason, Colm Meaney, Jim Sheridan, Ross Killeen, Paddy Hayes, Aoife Kennedy, John Connors & Ken Wardrop (and so many, many more) whose work has informed and engaged our audiences and contributed to fascinating Q&A's and social networking occasions.
Our music fest has had some of the best music acts such as Damien Dempsey, Rubber Banidts, Kneecap, Loah, Aoife Scott, Ciaran Moran, Ailbhe Reddy, David Keenan and The Coronas to name a few.
Festival Award will be given out for best feature at Craic Fest.
