Courtney-Giselle was born Courtney Simone Cook in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Christy and John Ball. Courtney has always had a passion for the arts when her parents put her in her first acting class at 10 years old. She was in her high school’s drama club along with being on the school’s varsity basketball team. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia, after receiving her bachelor’s degree in Theatre: Performance Emphasis at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Since, Courtney has starred in ‘For my Man’ (2019) and ‘The Killer Truth’ (2020), while producing her first comedy short film ‘The Box’ in 2020.
