REGOLAMENTO DEL FESTIVAL

Il concorso e’ rivolto ai filmaker di ogni parte del mondo che producono cortometraggi e documentari.
L’obiettivo e’ quello di valorizzare il cortometraggio e il docu-film ai fini dell’espressività e divulgazione culturale, creando un evento cinematografico su tutto il territorio della Valle d’Intelvi.

REGOLAMENTO
1 - La partecipazione al concorso prevede il pagamento di una quota di euro 5,00, da versare nelle modalità di seguito indicate, per autore (indifferentemente per quante sezioni vorrà partecipare).

2 - Sono previste due SEZIONI:
1) Cortometraggi;
2) Documentari.

E due temi, validi per ciascuna sezione di cui sopra:
1. “Suoni di vita: musica e ruralità”;
2. “Libero”.

3 – Le opere dovranno pervenire obbligatoriamente entro e non oltre domenica 31 marzo 2024, ed essere inviate tramite il servizio www.wetransfer.com o similari all'indirizzo di posta elettronica cortintelvi@gmail.com o tramite i servizi online offerti da https://festhome.com/ o https://filmfreeway.com/ e di cui saranno disponibili sul sito internet www.cortintelvi.it tutte le informazioni e le specifiche a partire dalla fine di dicembre 2023.

4 – Ogni autore può presentare una opera per ogni sezione (in lingua italiana o con sottotitoli in italiano – i cortometraggi e i documentari che non saranno in lingua italiana o non avranno i sottotitoli in italiano saranno esclusi dal concorso) di durata massima di 20 minuti (per la sezione CORTOMETRAGGI) e di durata massima di 60 minuti (per la sezione DOCUMENTARI), comprensivi dei titoli di testa e di coda. Ad ogni opera presentata dovrà essere compilato e sottoscritto il modulo di partecipazione, il quale fa parte integrante e sostanziale del presente regolamento.
Insieme all’invio dei filmati dovranno essere mandati anche un video trailer oltre alla locandina del filmato stesso.

5 – La direzione organizzativa si riserva la possibilità di non ammettere opere a concorso che siano non rispettose della serietà dello stesso ed in particolare si riserva di escludere video che contengono messaggi di pornografia e razzismo.

6 – Ogni autore e’ responsabile dei contenuti dell’opera presentata e della diffusione di musica prodotta da copyright. Inoltre, inviando l’opera dichiara di essere titolare di tutti i diritti di utilizzazione dell’opera stessa, nessuno escluso e che i contenuti della stessa non violano le leggi vigenti e che l’opera non presenta contenuti a carattere diffamatorio. In ogni caso il mittente solleva l’organizzazione da ogni responsabilità per il contenuto dell’opera proiettata in pubblico.

7 – L’organizzazione non e’ responsabile per danni o smarrimento delle opere inviate.

8 – L’organizzazione si riserva l’eventualità di modificare il presente bando per cause di forze maggiore o per il miglioramento dello stesso; le eventuali modifiche verranno comunque comunicate ai concorrenti tempestivamente.

9- Sarà cura dell’organizzazione operare una prima selezione delle opere da proiettare in pubblico durante delle serate dedicate alla valutazione della giuria popolare, che sancirà l'assegnazione di un premio speciale.

10 – Una giuria nominata dagli organizzatori valuterà i cortometraggi e i documentari in concorso ed assegnerà il premio alle quattro opere, due per ogni sezione cortometraggi e documentari (uno afferente al tema libero e uno relativo al tema “Suoni di vita: musica e ruralità”, per ogni sezione). Essa sarà costituita da esperti e appassionati in cinematografia, fotografia e altre arti visive. Sono previsti, altresì, i seguenti premi:
• Premio del pubblico – giuria popolare;
• Premio miglior fotografia (cortometraggio o documentario);
• Premio miglior interpretazione (cortometraggio);
• Premio miglior colonna sonora (cortometraggio o documentario);
• Premio speciale: "Donne in controluce, senza volto, senza voce, senza nome"

11 – La giuria infine si riserva di non assegnare i premi qualora non si presenti un numero minimo di partecipanti tale da giustificare la manifestazione.

12 – Il pagamento della quota di partecipazione potrà essere versata tramite bonifico bancario intestato a Ass.ne Amici del Museo di Casasco Intelvi – Banca Popolare di Sondrio Agenzia di Centro Valle Intelvi (Co) – IBAN: IT73 J 05696 05680 000020825X63. Coloro che invieranno i propri cortometraggi per il tramite dei servizi Festhome e Filfreeway, potranno pagare la quota direttamente a loro, la quale sarà poi girata alla segreteria organizzativa del Festival.

13 – Tutte le spese inerenti i viaggi, le spese di soggiorno dei partecipanti che vorranno assistere alla manifestazione ed alla serata di premiazione, sono a totale carico degli stessi, all’infuori di coloro che risulteranno premiati, il cui soggiorno, e solo questo (pernottamento e prima colazione) è offerto dall’organizzazione del Festival. I premi e i trofei non ritirati direttamente durante le serate di premiazione saranno inviati con spese a carico del destinatario.

14 – La scheda d’iscrizione (una per ogni opera inviata) dovrà essere chiaramente compilata in tutte le sue parti, debitamente firmata in originale e inviata (pena l’esclusione dal concorso). In caso di opere realizzate da minore occorrerà anche la firma del genitore e/o tutore. Nel caso fossero previste da norme di legge, dovranno essere allegate alla domanda di iscrizione anche le eventuali liberatorie. Le suddette liberatorie autorizzano anche l’eventuale diffusione (tv, web,mobile e/o altri supporti) per gli scopi promozionali della manifestazione . 15 – Coloro che saranno premiati potranno usufruire di un soggiorno per due persone e per una notte (con la formula del Bed & Breakfast). Ai premiati verrà consegnata targa e altri premi di varia natura anche offerti da aziende locali.

16 – Il programma dettagliato della manifestazione verrà pubblicato sul sito internet di riferimento www.cortintelvi.it. La manifestazione si terrà nei mesi di giugno, luglio e agosto 2024.

17 – Durante le serate di premiazione saranno proiettati i corti e i documentari premiati, mentre tutti i titoli selezionati dalla giuria saranno proiettati durante il periodo del Festival.

Gli organizzatori del Festival sono: l’Associazione Amici del Museo di Casasco Intelvi e lo studio fotografico e video Foto Idea di San Fedele.

REGULATION OF THE FESTIVAL
The competition is addressed to filmmakers from all over the world who produce short films and documentaries.
Its purpose is to appraise short films and documentary-films whose goal is expressiveness and cultural disclosure starting a cinematographic event throughout Val d’Intelvi.
REGULATION
1. The amount to enrol the Festival is 5 euros for each participant no matter for how many sections he/she registers. (For payment terms, see section 12)
2. There are two SECTIONS:
1) Short Films
2) Documentaries

And two themes for each of the two sections above mentioned:
1) “Sounds of life: music and rurality”
2) Open Theme

3. All works must compulsorily reach within and not further than Friday March 31st 2024, sent by the service www.wetransfer.com or similar services to the email address cortintelvi@gmail.com or by the service offered on the websites https://festhome.com/ or https://filmfreeway.com/
All information and characteristics will be available on the internet site www.cortintelvi.it starting from the end of December 2023.

4. Each participant may present a work for each section (in Italian or with Italian subtitles – all short films or documentaries that won’t be in Italian or with Italian subtitles will be kept out of the competition) of a maximum duration of 20 minutes (for the section “SHORT FILMS” and) and a maximum duration of 60 minutes (for the DOCUMENTARY section), including headings and closing credits. For each work submitted, the participation form must be filled out, approved and signed and it will be considered an integrated and significant part of this regulation.
Together with the films, also a video trailer and a poster of the film must be sent.

5. The organizational leadership retains the right and possibility of not admitting works to the competition that are not deferential towards the competition itself and in particular, it retains the right to exclude videos that contain messages referring to pornography or racism.
6. Each author is responsible for the contents of the work presented and for the diffusion of music protected by copyright. Besides, the author, by sending his/her work, declares to be the holder of all rights of using his/her work, none excluded and that its contents don’t break the current regulations and that his/her work has no slanderous contents. In any case, the sender relieves our organization from any responsibility as the contents of the work shown to the public.
7. Our organization is not responsible for damage or loss of the works sent.
8. Our organization reserves the right to change possibly the present announcement force majeure or to improve it. The possible changes will immediately be communicated to participants.
9. Our organization will carry out a first selection of the works to be shown in evenings during which a special people’s choice or choices award will be assigned.
10. A jury appointed by our organization will appraise the short films competing and will appoint a prize to the four works, two for each section (one for the Open Theme and one for “Sounds of life: music and rurality” for each section) . The jury will be made up of experts and cinematography, photography, and other visual arts enthusiasts.
There will also be assigned the following prizes:
• People’s choice award – popular jury;
• Best Photography (short film or documentary)
• Best Performance (short film)
• Best Sound Track (short film or documentary)
• Special award: “Women in backlight, with no aspect, no voice, no name”
11. Eventually, the jury reserves to appoint the prizes in case there won’t be a minimum number of participants as to validate the competition.
12. Payment of participation fee may be deposited through Bank Transfer in the name of Ass.ne Amici del Museo di Casasco Intelvi – Banca Popolare di Sondrio Agenzia di Centro Valle Intelvi (Co) IBAN: IT73 J 05696 05680 000020825X63.
Those who intend to send their works by the services Festhome or Filfreeway may directly pay to them who will forward the fees to the administrative office of the Festival.

13. All costs concerning the journey and stay of participants who wish to take part to the event and to the award ceremony are at the expense of the participants themselves, except for those who will turn out to be the prize winners whose overnight stay and breakfast will be paid by the Festival organization. The prizes and mementos that will not be picked directly during the award ceremony will be sent charged to the recipient.
14. The registration form (one for each work sent) must be carefully completed in each part, signed and sent (otherwise disqualification from the competition). In case there are works by minors there must be also one of the parents’ (or guardian’s) signature. Attached to the registration form there must be also releasing, in case the law makes provisions for it. Such releasing authorizes also possible circulation for promotional purposes of the event ( TV, web, mobile phones and other devices).The registration form is available and downloadable from the site www.cortintelvi.it or through the websites https://festhome.com and https://filmfreeway.com/ . 15. The prize winners will be given an overnight stay for two (breakfast included) in one of the hotels that joined this project and other prizes of different kind offered also by local companies.
16. The event full detail schedule will be published on the internet site www.cortintelvi.it The event will take place in the months of June, July and August 2024.
17. During the award ceremony evenings the short films and documentaries awarded will be shown, whereas all works selected will be shown during the whole period of the Festival.
The Festival organizers are “l’Associazione Amici del Museo di Casasco Intelvi” and the video and photographic studio “Foto Idea” in San Fedele.
