As a part of the literary festival "Parole a Braccio" and under the artistic direction of Ignazio Senatore, a psychiatrist, journalist, and film critic, the "Corti a Braccio - Short Movie Awards" is established an award aimed at directors, producers, filmmakers, and videomakers, to promote cinema in the form of independent short films in all its artistic and expressive languages.

THE TWO SECTIONS:

A - "Corti a Braccio - Short Film" Prize.
Awarded for a short film that addresses the creation of a literary work, and pays homage to a classic or poetic composition.
Theme: literature.

B - "DEI - Short Film" Prize.
Awarded for a short film that is inspired by themes such as misogyny, patriarchy, racism, ableism, and lgbtqi+, to express and enhance, through the film work an inclusive culture against all forms of prejudice, hatred, and/or discrimination.
Theme: diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Prize is open to any genre of short film, in the two macro-themes mentioned above, with a maximum length of 15 minutes (excluding titles and credits).
Short films that have already participated in other competitions or won awards in other festivals may also join.
Every author may submit only one work.
Short films shot in non-Italian language must be compulsorily subtitled in Italian, under penalty of exclusion from the Prize.

The best short film will be voted by the public who will attend the screening on the evening of September 9, 2022, in Montone (Pg).
Participation is free of charge.
Online registration no later than August 20, 2022.
All finalists will receive award laurel files by email.
The winners in each section will receive a trophy.
All prizes and awards will be announced and presented at a screening of the short films to be held in Montone (Pg) on the evening of Sept. 9, 2022.
