I'm Cormac, and I am a photographer and filmmaker, but I also explore other mediums of creating, such as collage, illustration, and graphic design. One of my only goals when creating my work is to use my lived experience as the context for something beyond myself to find its way into whatever it is I am making. Whether it is one of the movies I have written, directed, and edited, or a hardcover street photography book I made, or freelance photography work for a local business, I am working with the people I shoot as collaborators, the elements out of my control as inspiration and the technology itself as a basis for creating something I find deeply valuable to myself, which I hope has the possibility of translating to the viewer/audience.
