The Conway Film Festival is one of the events in ArtsFest, an annual celebration of the arts in downtown Conway, AR. Visual and performing artists gather from the community and beyond to present exhibitions, theatre productions, concerts, recitals, film screenings, and readings. ArtsFest is planned and presented by the Conway Alliance for the Arts (CAFTA), and its board of directors.
The Conway Film Festival is open to any film finished in 2019-2021 and must be one of the following:
1. Narrative Short (less than 20 minutes)
2. Documentary (less than 20 minutes)
3. Animation (less than 20 minutes)
Narrative short includes shorts made worldwide, and a separate category for films produced and shot exclusively in Arkansas.
Now in its 11th year, the festival will take place in Conway, AR, with screenings TBA. Admission to the screenings are free.
The Conway Film Festival is sponsored and coordinated by The UCA Film Club, at the University of Central Arkansas.
