The Conway Film Festival is one of the events in ArtsFest, an annual celebration of the arts in downtown Conway, AR. Visual and performing artists gather from the community and beyond to present exhibitions, theatre productions, concerts, recitals, film screenings, and readings. ArtsFest is planned and presented by the Conway Alliance for the Arts (CAFTA), and its board of directors.
The Conway Film Festival is open to any film finished in 2016-2017 and must be one of the following:
1. Narrative Short (less than 10 minutes)
2. Documentary (less than 10 minutes)
3. Animation (less than 10 minutes)
Narrative short includes shorts made worldwide, and a separate category for films produced and shot exclusively in Arkansas.
Now in its 10th year, the festival will take place in Conway, AR, with screenings TBA. Admission to the screenings are free.
The Conway Film Festival is sponsored and coordinated by Psi Delta Kappa, the cinematic co-ed honors film society at the University of Central Arkansas.

Submissions will be judged by a panel of jurors not affiliated with any films submitted or the Conway Film Festival itself. We strive to provide a fair competition and exhibition of films judged solely on the work done by honest and hardworking filmmakers and actors/actresses.
Our screeners will be accepted in .mov or DVD formats only. The Conway Film Festival does NOT support 35mm, Super 16mm or any other video or analog format.
The Conway Film Festival aspires to provide the best quality projection possible but will not be held liable for any failure in the technical quality of the projection.
Screenings are scheduled during the Festival at the discretion of Conway Film Festival and ArtsFest. While every effort will be made to adhere to the published schedule, Conway Film Festival reserves the right to make changes at any time for any reason. The Conway Film Festival will not be liable for any costs claimed as a result of a change in scheduling.
No film may be withdrawn from the festival program after its selection, and no film may be screened outside the festival venue during the Festival and before its official presentation without the approval of the Conway Film Festival and its directors.
