Dr. Constance McIntyre is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami,
where she received a B.A, Degree in Dance Education; and a M.F.A. Degree from
Florida State University in Tallahassee in Professional Performance in Dance.
She is certified in Autism Movement Therapy and is a licensed ZUMBA® fitness
instructor. She is a former guest Lecturer at the University of Miami She is an active
member of Women in Film and Television.
Presently, Dr. McIntyre is enrolled at Full Sail University with the MFA Film
Production Department. She has successfully created, written and directed three
mini-documentaries focusing on: Forgiveness, Cancer and Arts Education. She choreographed her first PBS television special “FACES” in Jackson Mississippi. She is a former instructor in classical ballet and modern dance at Florida State University, a former Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University both with the Department of Theatre and Dance. She is also the author of “Answering the Call: A Study of Liturgical Dance”, workbook and instructional DVD. Dr. McIntyre is the Creator and Director of TMI’s Lessons Behind the Scenes Television-Web Series.
Dr. McIntyre is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of The McIntyre Institute™, The JEDAH Company, The McIntyre Institute™ Dance Theater and T.A.P. [The McIntyre Institute™ Acceleration Program]. She along with her husband, Dr. Vincent McIntyre are the Creators and Executive Producers of America’s first National Liturgical Dance Television program, “Called 2 Dance®” and the Called 2 Dance®” National Liturgical Dance Conference Network. Dr. McIntyre states. “I desire to strive for excellence in all I do, because my God deserves nothing less."
