Constance Hilton is an emerging Director with over a decade of industry experience working as a Boom Operator. Based in Toronto, Canada Constance directed her first short film, Mute, in 2019, which enjoyed a festival run of thirteen selections, including the St. John's International Women's Film Festival, and was awarded Best Thriller at the Imagine This Women’s Film Festival. Her sound credits include the Emmy winning comedy series Schitt's Creek and sci-fi thriller Orphan Black. A lifetime lover of visual storytelling, Constance graduated from Sheridan College's Media Arts program in 2007 before beginning her career in film. She has served as a member of the Executive Board of NABET 700-M UNIFOR, the Ontario union of film, television and new media technicians, as VP Sound since 2018. Constance is currently in post production on her second short film, The Good Word.
