Conor Hagen was born in Crested Butte, Colorado and grew up in Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico. He studied film at the University of Vermont before moving to New York City to work alongside his mentor, documentarian Albert Maysles. He then worked under filmmaker Darren Aronofsky before deciding to pursue his own career as a documentary filmmaker. Conor's most recent feature documentary, HIGH COUNTRY received the Audience Choice Award at numerous festivals around the country. Conor currently lives in Kenwood, California.
