The 11th Commonwealth Film Festival is an annual film festival hosted by Delta Kappa Alpha, a professional film fraternity at Boston University. This event celebrates the outstanding films created by registered university student filmmakers from the Greater Boston area.

Rules & Terms

Registered college students only in the Greater Boston area. Please put your school email address in the description of the film you are submitting. If we could not verify your student identification, your film will not be considered.

Short film is less than 15 minutes and is available in digital format.

Produced less than 1 year ago.

Should the film necessitate content or trigger warnings, such warnings must be included in the work at the beginning of the film.

Films outside of these bounds will not be considered for the festival.

The director or producer of the film and the work is a work of the contestant's own.
