#ComCorto is an annual festival that celebrates especially the creative talent of budding filmmakers. Organized, supported and held under the auspices of the city council office of Seville. this annual event provides a platform for independent filmmakers, students and freelancers from all over the world to showcase their exceptional short films and documentaries.

The festival welcomes submissions that captivate audiences within a concise timeframe, with a maximum duration of 40 minutes It aims to foster a diverse range of cinematic expressions, encouraging innovation, storytelling, and artistic exploration.

The films will compete for the awards and mentions outlined below at the ComCorto Short Film Festival. The awards will be categorized into fiction (short films, experimental, mockumentaries...) and documentaries.

RTVA Broadcasting Award for Best Spanish Creation: Exhibition and broadcasting of the selected film on one of the RTVA channels.

PARTICIPANTS

All short films and documentaries produced or created by independent filmmakers, student and freelancers from all over the world are eligible to submit their works.

The submitted works must have been produced after January 2022 and should not have been previously selected or screened in any edition of #ComCorto.

TECHNICAL CONDITIONS

There is no limit to the number of submissions from the same director in #ComCorto, as long as all other requirements are met.
The films must be submitted in their original language. If the original language is not Spanish, even partially, the work must be submitted with Spanish/English subtitles.
The maximum duration for the films is 40 minutes.
The audiovisual pieces should be delivered in digital format with either .mp4 (MPG4) or .mov (MOV) extensions, using H.264 codec, 1920x1080p resolution, and ACC 48.000Hz stereo audio or uncompressed audio.
Products that do not meet the necessary technical requirements for public screening may be rejected.
