COLOSSAL CINEMATIC SHOWCASE is a Showcase that twice a year presents a 2-hour screening of short movies on the big screen. We are a red carpet event, so dress up, get your picture taken, and see some movies.

We aren't a believer in awards and prizes. We all win by encouraging each other's creativity.

We are developing a program of shorts, 1 minute to 20 minutes long.

We primarily show the work of Northwest movie makers - we're in Boise, Idaho, but are open to movies from anywhere.

We don't care where or when your movie was shot. We don't care if it's been shown somewhere else.

We are an R rated event open to all genres.

We will open for submissions January 1, 2022 to July 4 , 2022 for the October 2022 Showcase.

When we accept your movie for the Showcase we will be asking you for the standard Film Maker packet: your bio, a pic of yourself, any 'behind-the-scenes' stills you might have, and a digital file of the movie. Please include these with your submission or be prepared to send them shortly after acceptance.

This is an amazing showcase for the short film maker. They show a incredibly varied array of films and the organizers (Larry Dennis & Melina Marx) are great to work with. This has become a go-to event for me.
