JEREMIAH OGHENEKARO ONOGE (DGN)
Jeremiah Oghenekaro Onoge (DGN) is one of Africa’s passion driven and honest film Director, Producer and Actor – the remarkable man. He is an ambassador for change with GEMSTONE Nation Builders. The Winner of Africa Magic at 10 Movie Project in 2014, which earned him the role of Felix in an Africa Magic Original Film – "Wine for Chocolates" to act alongside with Majid Michel (Ghana’s movies celebrity); featured in another Africa Magic Original Film titled "Just a Maid" alongside Ivie (Winner AMBOX), Tina Mba and a documentary show by the Africa Magic crew, which is currently on air.
Born 8th November, into the family of Late Mr. Andrew Okoro Onoge in the city of Warri, Delta State; a native of Urhobo from Jesse Village in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State of Nigeria. Jeremiah attended Ivbiyeneva Primary School, where he obtained his Primary School Leaving Certificate; then proceeded to Niger College, Benin City, where he obtained his Junior Secondary Certificate. He also attended Rapid Success High School, Benin City and earned his Senior Secondary School Certificate, he holds a Bsc. in Statistics with Computer Science and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the University of Benin.
As a stage actor, he is an active member of the popular award winning Christian Interdenominational Drama Team in Benin City, Edo State – D’Remarkables, where he played several leads in stage plays and maintains that Lead role in almost all the stage Dramas by D’Remarkables. He was able to impact the team with the same passion he has, which led them to win various awards as Best Drama Team in Edo State.
As a film actor, he is a member of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and his creative skills has brought him this far; hence he first runner up of the NOLLYWOOD Talent Hunt Show in 2012 and top 13 qualified contestants in Next Movie Star Reality Show in 2016. The number of films he has acted cannot be quantified, as he has featured in so many films, which includes: Just a Maid, Wine for Chocolate, The Radical Act, The Broken Blood, Native Woman, The Deed, The Therapist, The Church, Sponge at Birth, Pursuit of Payback, INVASION 1896, Travail, Agony of Abraham, Broken Vows, Human Hunters, Mali Camp, Burning Rose. His high level of humility and acting skills has given him the privilege to work alongside with prolific actors like: Late Justice Esiri, Majid Michel, Francis Duru, Kelvin Books, Abraham Nwodo, Paul Obazee, Segun Arinze, Charles Enojie, Rita Edochie, e.t.c. and renowned directors like Lancelot OduwaImasuen, Alex Mouth, Billy Kings, Ernest Obi, Osaigbovo Ehiamatoe etc.
As a Stage Director, he has directed over 26 stage plays which include: The Final Verdict, Godless, Your Destiny, Second Chance to life, Endless, Addicted, Pleasures of Life, Osiwi – The Royal Staff, e.t.c. His stage acting and directing skills paved way for him to direct a stage drama by the Ambassadors of Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF) and Christ Ambassador Students Outreach (CASOR) both of theIgbenedion University in Okada, Edo State.
As a film director, Jeremiah is a member of the prestigious Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN); he had his first film as a director and producer in 2010 which was “FEARLESS”, which paved the way to work as a director and assistant director for various production firms in Nigeria. He is the Director and CEO of ClickMagic Films and an award winning actor/director with numerous prestigious awards which includes: Best Movie Director of the year 2018; The Most Outstanding Actor in Edo State; An Outstanding Youth Leader; Award An Outstanding NOLLYWOOD Director, etc.
Aside being an Actor, Director and Producer; he is a creative Graphics Designer; the CEO GigaConcept International®. As a Christian, he is currently the Youth Pastor of Voice of Freedom Ministries for three(3) years now, after serving for five(5) years as the National Youths and Singles President of the church. He is also the Assistant Director of the Technical Department and Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit of the Church.
He enjoys traveling, music, hanging out and meditation.
Jeremiah Oghenekaro Onoge (DGN) is happily married to his lovely wife, Precious Onoge and they are blessed with three wonderful children – Confidence Onoge and Oghenkaro Onoge and Chaniel Onoge.
