DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
At the intersection of documentary and fiction, DIARY OF A FATHER transcends my personal story to become a meditation on filiation, where each viewer can weave their own family history as a parent or child. DIARY OF A FATHER leans towards a poetic perspective rather than a traditional documentary approach to fatherhood. The film completes my trilogy initiated with WHERE I'M FROM (2014) and A WOMAN, MY MOTHER (2019).
