Meet Claire S. Cohen, the writer and director of DEAD END, and get to know about the woman behind the camera!

Before Claire discovered her passion for film, she planned to become an educator, teaching in her hometown. After being introduced to filmmaking in high school, her life changed completely. She recognized the ability film has to change the world, and she hopes to create movies that make people feel seen, understood, and loved, uniting communities and creating opportunities for uncomfortable, and important, discussions.

Claire graduated cum laude from Elon University in May of 2025 with a BFA in Cinema and TV Arts and a BSBA in Marketing. She plans to move to LA in the fall of 2025 and hopes to continue making films and defining her voice. She's chosen to include her middle initial in credits due to the popularity of her last name.
