Cinémonde is an invitation-only, year-round film series in New York City that screens one feature and one short by means of private streaming on VIMEO, It is a great way to get the "word-of-mouth" going for a thought-provoking film and reach a discerning audience of film-lovers who like to discuss it. Because we are now obliged to operate "virtually," the filmmaker records a brief Skype introduction. We screen the films during a pre-arranged window, and afterwards at a pre-scheduled time, we invite our audience to participate in a webinar on ZOOM with live Q&A with the filmmaker(s). We send out notifications of our events to a selective group of international-minded professionals and attract an interesting variety of smart "Cinemonders" to our soirees.
