CinePoems Cyprus Festival launches its second edition in 2026,
as part of the Poetry Moves International Festival.

Dedicated to the fusion of poetry and moving image, this new platform invites poets, filmmakers, video artists, and performers from around the world to explore poetry through film.

2026 Poetry Theme: TIME - Flows of Time

Be one of the first video artists to take part in this new, visionary festival — and help shape its identity from the very beginning. Your work won’t just be shown — it will become part of the foundation of a platform that celebrates poetry in motion.

GSA Cultural Productions Ltd is a non-profit company in Cyprus founded by Georgea Solomontos, who believes deeply in art and stands up for artists, ensuring every creator has space to breathe, create, and express freely.

Awards & Prizes


All selected VIDEOPOEMS to be shown in this second edition will receive an award of €100.

The VIDEOPOEMS for the 2nd Edition will be selected by a jury composed of photographers, filmmakers, and visual artists.

Submission Guidelines

2026 Poetry Theme: TIME - Flows of Time

There are no entry fees for submissions.

We invite SHORT FILMS BASED ON POETRY, VIDEO-VISUAL POETRY, VIDEOPOEMS a maximum duration of 10 minutes.

All languages are welcome — non-English films must include English subtitles.

There are no restrictions on the year of production — both new and older works are eligible.

    I was delighted and honored that my film "The Pelican of the Wilderness" was selected for this amazing festival! Although I wasn’t able to attend in person, communication with the organizers was excellent, and they did a great job promoting the event on Facebook. Overall, I got the impression that it was truly a wonderful event. Many thanks again to the entire festival team — I wish you much success with the future editions!
