The Film Festival takes place in Domodossola, in a wedge of the italian territory of upper Piedmont, between the swiss cantons of Wallis and Ticino It raises in the heart of Ossola’s valley floor, surrounded by seven valleys on the sides, forming the region called Ossola, connected to important passes of Lepontine and Pennine Alps. It’s a significant rail junction and has many interesting historical and artistic witnesses, as the Sacro Monte Calvario, Unesco heritage, the Collegiata Church and the historical centre, that leads to the charming medieval Piazza Mercato, crowned by XVI century buildings.
