He was born in Ankara in 1982. He graduated from Gazi University, Department of Journalism in 2013. He started working at TRT in 2014. He create his films under the pseudonym Cihan Abdal. He shot his first short film, Passenger, in 2018. Cihan Abdal, who founded the Ankara Short Film Community (KISAFT) in 2020, shot the short film Rabbit Sleep with the group in 2021. His last film, Helezon Değişken, which he shot in 2022, competed in 26 festivals in 13 countries and received 18 awards.
TRT co-production; He worked as DIT in Zeki Demirkubuz's movie "Hayat", as Editor and DIT in Belkıs Bayrak's movie "Gülizar", and as Editer and DIT in Ensar Altay's movie “Kanto".
