Since 2012 Chris has created over 150 films for clients including the UK Government and the NHS. Prior to 2012, he wrote and directed over 200 TV commercials. He’s worked with many leading actors from Art Malik and Harry Enfield to Stephen Fry and Adrian Edmonson. He’s collaborated with Ken Loach and DoPs such as David Tattersall (Star Wars Ep I, II, III) Nick Tebbet (Fifth Element) and Roger Pratt (Harry Potter, Batman).
A Dieu is his first short film, taken from the Arthurian Legends. It combines a Shakespearean script with an outstanding performance by Joe Absolom who starred in UK Network TV's "A Confession" with Martin Freeman and Imelda Staunton, nominated for Best New Drama in the 2020 UK National Television Awards.
The original score is by Matthew Slater, composer for the long-running UK TV drama series "Endeavour", screened by PBS in the US.
