Chris began his career as a runner, A.D. and producer’s assistant on feature films, short-films and TV drama including Shadow of the Vampire and Harry Potter. He then trained as an offline-editor and quickly progressed to directing and producing, becoming creative director at Ten Alps vision in 2005, where he developed a team of award-winning directors and editors, winning an RTS award in 2007.
He made his first two narrative shorts in 2014/2016 and following festival screenings in the USA decided to return to study a master’s degree in filmmaking, graduating with distinction in 2018, winning the university’s Court Medal for outstanding academic achievement.
This year he was shortlisted for the BFI’s New Talent development program through SFTN, and was invited to participate in both the Edinburgh International Film Festival Talent Lab, and the Reykjavik International Film Festival Talent Lab.
