I'm Jonny, an animator and filmmaker originally from North Yorkshire. I currently live in London, UK, and spend my daylight hours as the cofounder and art director of Chicken Fruit animation studio.

My most recent film project, Loneliness & Laundry, is Chicken Fruit’s first major short. It’s a labour of love, unfunded, and took about four years to make. It’s the culmination of countless experiments with 3D animation in a hand-painted style, the battle against the Northern urge to repress negative emotions, and the glorious feeling of face-planting into warm laundry on a cold day. We really hope you enjoy it.

Our previous major short, METEORLIGHT, was a part of the BBC and BFI’s Animation 2018 project, and premiered in October 2018 at the BFI Southbank. It was later broadcast on BBC Four in December 2018. You can see more information at chickenfruit.studio/post/meteorlight
