I am Chiara Caccavale, 28 years old, born in Milan but always on the move—whether for work, studies, or matters of the heart.
I am a person with many passions and full of energy, but cinema is what I’ve chosen to pursue more seriously, starting with my education: a bachelor's degree in Cinema, a diploma in creative writing, a master’s degree in Cinema, Television, and Multimedia Production and another diploma in Audiovisual Management. By sending countless emails and with a bit of luck, I managed to work as a production assistant and script supervisor on various sets, and I’m happy to have discovered that my place in the world is in the vast space behind the camera.
I’ve been writing since I was a child, and every time I blow out candles or eyelashes from my finger, I wish to make my projects come true: novels, short films, stories, films. With my novels Deep Fake and Bonsai, I participated in the Calvino Prize and received positive feedback on my evaluation reports. Rosa Shock is my first feature film concept. With La clinica dei cuori infranti, I took part in Spallate, a workshop in Milan, and had the opportunity to give a public pitch in Rome organized by Cinque Media. Senzacca took part in the first workshop of the Incanto Film Festival under the supervision of screenwriter Claudio Balboni. La pena is my first short film, produced by MB Entertainment.
